BAce Team

• Benny Chen
  Managing Partner

  Former MD of Ant Group India and Director of Strategic Alliance India & SEA. Benny succeeded in investing & growing in India’s largest internet company Paytm and lifestyle mobile platform Zomato with his 15 years investment and business experience in China, India and SEA.
  
  He founded BAce Capital in 2018 with a vision to empower young dreams. Natively from Hangzhou where China internet started, lived and worked in India, SEA and US for many years gives him a unique global view of building great businesses.

• Kshitij Karundia (KK)
  Managing Partner

  Former Senior Director of India & SEA strategic investment at Alibaba Group. KK established Alibaba Group’s footprint in the region, including Paytm, Paytm Mall, BigBasket, XpressBees, Lazada and Tokopedia. Prior to that he was in TMT investment banking roles at Goldman Sachs, Rothschild and Citi.
  
  Born in India, he moved to China 15 years ago, and can leverage his resources across China, India and SEA helping to serve young dreams fly higher.

• Yuan Fang
  SEA Investment

  Lived and worked across China, Singapore and UK, Yuan has built a great combination of China’s mobile economy knowledge and SEA’s local expertise.
  
  Prior to joining BAce, Yuan was part of Alibaba Global Leadership Academy (AGLA) program and rotated among different roles in the ecosystem such as investment analyst at Ant’s strategic investment team, BD expert for Tmall Global SEA and category leader for Tmall Overseas Fulfillment (TOF), therefore developed a strong expertise and passion for e-commerce, logistics and Fintech.
  
  Yuan also worked for JP Morgan & Goldman Sachs in both Singapore and London.

• Rijul Jain
  India Investment

  Rijul has been part of the Indian investment ecosystem since 2015, and been involved in 25+ early stage investments across Consumer, FinTech, Healthcare, DeepTech & B2B verticals, actively working with founders across operational & strategic priorities.
  
  Prior to joining BAce, he was part of the investments team at Astarc Ventures and Mitsui Global Investment. He has a strong background in technology having worked in dev and product roles at WalmartLabs and Oracle across India and US.
